Shooting -- An article in Sunday’s California section about a shooting in Westwood incorrectly stated that the victim was a UCLA student and that the incident took place on campus. The shooting actually took place off campus, and the victim did not attend the university.
The victim, a male student, was not immediately identified, but was in stable condition at a hospital, police said.
Saturday’s shooting is the second on the UCLA campus this month. A school police officer shot a 52-year-old man Oct. 6 after he refused to cooperate with the officer.
