Undefeated TCU Rolls On

FORT WORTH — Texas Christian just keeps prolonging the bowl championship series debate.
Kenny Boyd returned a blocked punt for a touchdown, linebacker Marvin Patterson pounced on a fumble in the end zone and the No. 10 Horned Frogs remained undefeated with a 43-10 victory over Cincinnati on Saturday.
TCU, which improved to 10-0 overall and 7-0 in Conference USA, won its 12th consecutive game.
The Horned Frogs and Oklahoma, the No. 1 team in every poll, are the only unbeaten teams in major college football.
TCU is sixth in the latest BCS standings, the highest ranking ever for a team from a non-BCS conference. If TCU stays in the top six, it will be guaranteed a berth in one of the four most lucrative bowl games.
After winning five games by three points and another by only a touchdown, the Horned Frogs had their biggest win of the season. And by beating Cincinnati (5-5, 2-4), they avenged one of their two losses from last season.
