Government to Resume Bus Service to Pakistan
From Times Wire Reports
India will resume a popular bus service to Pakistan and release more 130 Pakistani prisoners, initiatives aimed at resuming dialogue between the nuclear rivals after a two-year break.
Pakistan’s information minister welcomed the moves and called for talks, including on the issue of Kashmir, a divided region claimed by both nations.
The bus service linking New Delhi with Lahore, Pakistan, was stopped 17 months ago after an attack on India’s Parliament.
