Listen for him

I agree that the future of Broadway is British (“West of the West End,” May 11). A future Tony Award winner will be Michael Ball, currently on stage in London playing the eccentric inventor of “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.” Ball’s CD “The Musicals” has him singing like Fanny Brice in “Funny Girl,” Norma Desmond in “Sunset Boulevard” and Eliza Doolittle in “My Fair Lady.”
