Death Penalty to Be Sought in Girl’s Slaying

Prosecutors will seek the death penalty against a man accused of murdering a Chula Vista teenager in 1986.
Prosecutors allege that George Williams Jr. is a serial pedophile with a lengthy criminal history. Prosecutor Jeff Dusek announced the decision to seek the death penalty at a Superior Court hearing Thursday.
Rickieann Blake, 14, was last seen at home April 10. Her body was found the next day on a freeway onramp; she had been sexually assaulted and strangled.
