Gemstar, Thomson Settle Patent Lawsuit

Gemstar-TV Guide International Inc., the publisher of TV Guide magazine, and consumer electronics maker Thomson settled a patent lawsuit and said Thomson would continue to include Gemstar-created programming in its TV sets and other consumer electronic items.
Gemstar didn’t disclose financial terms of the agreement.
