U.N. Says Aid Needed to Save Starving Children

Children are dying of hunger in Zimbabwe and many more will die if emergency action is not taken soon, U.N. officials said.
In its survey of 50,000 children younger than 6, the United Nations agency for children, UNICEF, found high levels of severe malnutrition in several areas, especially in larger cities.
