All Aboard Killed When Private Plane Crashes
A private single-engine plane crashed in a remote area of Santa Clarita Friday morning and killed all aboard, a Los Angeles County Fire Department spokesman said.
The wreckage of the four-seat Cessna 182Q was spotted by a Los Angeles County fire helicopter pilot after officials received a call about 10 p.m. reporting smoke in a remote area of Bouquet Canyon, three miles south of the Bouquet Canyon Reservoir, said department spokesman Capt. Mark Savage.
It was not immediately known how many people were aboard the plane, which disintegrated on impact, or its flight origin or destination, Savage said.
