FINALLY
Sick leave: Jerry Nachman, editor-in-chief of MSNBC and host of the cable channel’s daily show “Nachman,” began a medical leave Wednesday to deal with a gallbladder malignancy. MSNBC said that his prognosis for a full recovery was excellent and that he should be back in a few weeks. Guest hosts will fill in during his absence.
Branching out: Pat Sajak, the “Wheel of Fortune” host who once helmed a late-night show on CBS, is going to take another shot at conducting interviews. He’s signed with Fox News Channel to host “Pat Sajak Weekend,” which will air Sundays at 6 p.m. beginning this spring.
Welcome: Starting Feb. 13, admission to L.A.’s Museum of Contemporary Art will be free every Thursday this year, thanks to a grant from Wells Fargo & Co. The policy covers regular public hours, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., at all three MOCA locations -- in downtown L.A., Little Tokyo and West Hollywood.
