Third Stabbing in as Many Days on Subway
An 18-year-old man was stabbed in a Manhattan subway station, the third slashing on the city’s underground trains in as many days, police said.
The man was waiting on the platform in the city’s financial district when he got in a dispute with five other people. He was hospitalized in stable condition.
Early Friday morning, a 21-year-old woman was slashed on her face and hands while waiting in Manhattan for a train to Brooklyn. That night, a 26-year-old man was stabbed in the neck with a box cutter while waiting for a train in Queens. No arrests have been made in the attacks.
