Weather Stalls Recovery of Remains From Crash

Strong wind, fog and rain forced authorities to put off recovering the remains of 302 Revolutionary Guards troops and crew members killed in Iran’s deadliest plane crash, officials said. The troops were on their way from Zahedan, on the Pakistani border, to Kerman, about 500 miles southeast of Tehran, when their Russian-made Ilyushin military transport plane crashed Wednesday in mountainous terrain.
An senior official in Zahedan said several victims were senior officers.
