36 Killed in Blast at Fireworks Factory

An explosion killed 36 people at a fireworks factory in Tieling, China, and a businessman who set up the factory was ordered arrested, state media said.
The factory had been operating only three days when the blast tore apart its two workshops, the New China News Agency said. It said police ordered the arrest of Chen Haoyan, who lacked a production safety license. The report did not say whether he owned the factory.
