Man, 70, Killed in Fall While Hanging Lights

A 70-year-old man fell from a ladder to his death while hanging Christmas lights outside his Anaheim home.
Frank Yrisarri was pronounced dead about 10:40 p.m. Sunday following the 3:30 p.m. fall.
“He and his wife were putting lights up on the house,” said Joseph Luckey, supervising deputy Orange County coroner. “She started to fall, he tried to help her and then fell himself.”
Yrisarri’s wife, whose name was not released, suffered a broken leg, Luckey said.
