Judge Sets Camera Rules

Judge Terry Ruckriegle decided Thursday to allow video cameras in front of the Eagle County, Colo., courthouse and in the hallway leading to the courtroom for a Dec. 19 motions hearing in the Kobe Bryant sexual assault case.
Legal analysts say defendants are not always required to appear at motions hearings in Colorado. However, Bryant’s attorneys have not asked Ruckriegle that the Laker star be excused from attending.
The Lakers play at home against the Denver Nuggets on Dec. 19, a Friday.
