Bill to Repeal Driver’s License Law Signed

Without ceremony or public announcement, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger signed a bill Wednesday night repealing legislation that would have allowed undocumented immigrants to obtain driver’s licenses, beginning next year, sources said.
The passage of the repeal bill through the same Assembly and Senate that earlier approved the driver’s licenses gave the governor his first legislative victory.
