Murder in Prison
Boston-area former priest John Geoghan was murdered in a Massachusetts prison (Aug. 24). We as a civilized society certainly have a right to protect ourselves and imprison criminals. Yet with that right goes the responsibility to provide a minimum of safety for those criminals. We have certainly failed in Boston.
