Man Killed While Trying to Cross Freeway

A 42-year-old man was struck and killed by an SUV early Friday as he crossed the San Diego Freeway on foot, authorities said.
A southbound driver struck the man, who was crossing south of Saticoy Street, about 1 a.m. Then the car, stopped in a middle lane, was struck by another car.
Neither driver was cited.
The name of the pedestrian had not been released.
