Keystone Buys Parts Distributor MultiPro

Keystone Automotive Industries Inc. has acquired Canadian auto parts distributor MultiPro Auto Body Parts Inc. of Quebec. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
As the leading distributor of non-original auto parts, Pomona-based Keystone has pursued an aggressive expansion program through acquisitions since going public in 1996.
MultiPro posted sales of about $9.7 million in its most recent fiscal year. Keystone had fiscal 2003 sales of $440 million.
Keystone shares fell 8 cents to $19.30 on Nasdaq.
