11 Texas Democrats Start Second Week in Exile

Eleven Democratic state senators in Texas began their second week in exile in Albuquerque by resolving to stand firm in their redistricting battle with Republicans back home.
Democrats outnumber Republicans 17 to 15 in the Texas congressional delegation. But Republicans, led by U.S. House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, are pushing for a new state map.
