Volunteers Sought for Coastal Cleanup Event

Moorpark residents are invited to participate in this year’s California Coastal Cleanup Day from 9 a.m. to noon today.
Volunteers will meet between 8:30 and 9 a.m. near the pedestrian bridge at Arroyo Vista Community Park, 4550 Tierra Rejada Road.
“Moorpark has two coasts: each side of the Arroyo Simi,” said John Brand, a city management analyst.
The International Coastal Cleanup organized by the Ocean Conservancy is taking place on the same day.
