This was San Francisco’s first World Series win at home since Game 6 of the 1962 World Series. The Giants lost Game 7 that year and both home games in 1989. Since moving to San Francisco before the 1958 season, the Giants were 2-5 in World Series home games until Wednesday’s Game 4 victory over the Angels.
