New Jersey Senate Race

Re “Democrats Pick Lautenberg to Replace Torricelli,” Oct. 2: How many Democrats does it take to hold the New Jersey Supreme Court justices’ noses? It reminds me of the days after World War II--how the Soviet-ruled governments made up the laws and regulations as they went along. They paved the way for the complete takeover of the Iron Curtain countries. The elections were fraudulent also. I hope the New Jerseyites are happy. Unfortunately, there is more at stake this time. It affects not just one state but the entire country. Aren’t we ever going to learn from history?
