Former Colorado quarterback Craig Ochs has been given permission to talk to Washington about a transfer. Colorado Athletic Director Dick Tharp rejected a blanket request to allow Ochs to speak to other Pacific 10 Conference schools on the quarter system, including UCLA. Ochs’ interest in attending a school on a quarter system would mean that he could enroll immediately and have this season count as a redshirt year. That would allow him to play next season and have two years of eligibility remaining.
