Role Reversals

It is, no doubt, commendable when actors stand up for their colleagues in other countries (“Vietnamese Actor Under Fire for U.S. Film Roles,” by Anita M. Busch, Sept. 30).
However, before we get too critical of Vietnam, we should consider how we would react toward an American actor featured prominently in an Iraqi film portraying Iraqis as the good guys!
