Apartment Sewage Leak Closes Westcliff Shore

A stretch of Upper Newport Bay was closed to swimming and diving Monday after health inspectors discovered that sewage from an apartment complex was draining into the water.
The closure affects 500 feet of the bay on either side of the Westcliff Park projection.
