Man Guilty in Killing of 15-Year-Old Boy

A 19-year-old Goleta man was found guilty of murder for his role in the killing of West Hills boy Nicholas Markowitz.
Graham Pressley was convicted Wednesday in Santa Barbara County Superior Court of second-degree murder and use of an assault weapon in the death of the 15-year-old in August 2000. Four others also have been convicted. The alleged mastermind, Jesse James Hollywood, has evaded police.
Pressley faces 18 years to life in prison. His sentencing hearing is scheduled for Jan. 15.
