Stepping out: David Schwimmer, who plays Ross on the long-running NBC comedy “Friends,” will step off the screen and onto the stage as one of the cast of “Turnaround,” a play by Roger Kumble that will have a six-week run at the Coast Playhouse in West Hollywood beginning Jan. 22.

Concert: The Jurassic 5 concert scheduled for Wednesday at the Wiltern has been postponed. A new date in January is expected.

Flight song: Singer Patti LaBelle, who knows something about soaring with her vocal style, has been chosen to record a song for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration to celebrate the nation’s 100th anniversary of flight. She’ll record “Way Up There,” written for NASA by Tena Clark, Saturday at a studio in Pasadena.
