The carol marathon has begun at KOST-FM

It’s not even Thanksgiving yet, but Christmas bells are ringing at KOST-FM (103.5). The station has set aside its regular format of soft pop to play holiday music from now through Dec. 25.
KOST did the same thing last year and saw its ratings in several key demographic groups jump significantly over the previous year, said station manager Jhani Kaye.
So, not surprisingly, it launched the carol fest three days earlier this year.
