Drive-By Shooting Leaves 1 Dead, 1 Hurt

A man was killed and another man was hospitalized after a drive-by shooting that appeared to be gang-related, police said.
Raymond Carlos, 22, of Sylmar was gunned down in the 15000 block of Paddock Street about 10:30 p.m. Friday, said Los Angeles Police spokesman Jack Richter. A 29-year-old man standing with him was also shot, but will recover, police said.
He was not identified.
