Ex-Teacher Admits to Possessing Child Porn

A former White Oak Elementary School teacher pleaded guilty Thursday to possessing and downloading child pornography, authorities said.
James Robertson, 56, of Thousand Oaks faces up to a year in county jail when he is sentenced Dec. 9. He is free on bail.
Robertson was originally charged with 20 misdemeanor counts, which included one count for each printed picture of child porn that authorities found in his home. He pleaded guilty to two of those counts.
The maximum penalty for a conviction on all 20 counts also would have been a year in jail, county prosecutors said.
Robertson taught fourth and fifth grades at the Westlake Village school last year.
