Man Arrested in Conning of Immigrants

An Armenian national has been charged with 15 counts of grand theft after allegedly posing as an INS agent and offering to help immigrants with their paperwork, the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office said Tuesday.
Prosecutors said Razmik Dekermenjian stole a total of $150,000 from 15 victims after saying he would help them get green cards. The victims never heard from him again, prosecutors said.
