Bishop Montgomery’s Cooper Is Honored

Lisa Cooper, who has led the Torrance Bishop Montgomery girls’ basketball team to three consecutive state Division III titles, was among 10 coaches nominated by CIF section offices statewide to receive a Model Coach Award for the 2001-02 school year.

The new program recognizes coaches who have served as positive role models and have exhibited traits apparent in the principles of the “Pursuing Victory With Honor” program.
