The severed leg of a man killed with his wife when their van was hit by a freight train in Mississippi was found 700 miles away near Chicago, authorities said.
Max Twiner, 69, and his wife, Virginia, 68, died Monday when their van was crushed by a Canadian National Railroad train at a crossing near Yazoo City, Miss.
The leg--with Twiner’s boot still on--was discovered caught in one of the train cars when it pulled into Harvey on Tuesday.
