Country Band Launches Summer Concert Series

The city’s arts council begins its free summer concert series tonight at 7:30 p.m. in Constitution Park.
Caught Red Handed, which has kicked off the series for the past two years, has been an opening act for performers including Vince Gill and the Oak Ridge Boys. Three of the country band’s members live in Camarillo. The series continues on July 13 with Ron Barley’s 18-piece Concert Band; the Beatles tribute band Imagine plays on July 27; the Estrada Brothers play jazz Aug. 10; the Four Freshmen play music from the ‘50s and ‘60s on Aug. 24, and Elvis impersonator Raymond Michael performs on Sept. 7.
