JetBlue Airways will begin nine daily flights from Long Beach to Oakland on Sept. 6, and, starting Oct. 10, six flights a day to Las Vegas, a daily flight to Salt Lake City and a fifth daily flight to New York’s JFK airport. The low-fare carrier now flies from Long Beach to JFK and Dulles airport in suburban Washington. The new flights went on sale last week.... Internet travel seller www.expedia.com last week began allowing site visitors to “build” their own custom trips, choosing flights, hotel, car rental, tours and attraction tickets to combine into a single package to buy online.... Visiting London this week? Don’t expect it to be business as usual. The yearlong Golden Jubilee celebration for Queen Elizabeth II peaks Tuesday, which was declared a national holiday, with a ceremonial procession to St. Paul’s Cathedral followed by a festival.
