Police Probe Shooting at Dodger Stadium
Los Angeles police were investigating the shooting of a man late Friday by an off-duty police officer in the parking lot of Dodger Stadium, authorities said.
The shooter was not an LAPD officer, police said. His police affiliation has not been disclosed.
The gunfire in parking lot No. 33 erupted around 10:16 p.m. as fans left the stadium after the Dodgers lost to the Arizona Diamondbacks.
The officer was with one of two groups of people who had been interacting shortly before the shooting.
The man who was shot, described by friends as in his late 20s, was expected to recover.
