Demonstrators Assail Cross-Burning Incident

Dozens of people rallied at Civic Plaza to denounce the recent burning of a cross on a black police officer’s lawn.
The rally Wednesday came in response to a July 15 incident that authorities believe was committed in retaliation for earlier arrests involving the officer.
