2 Killed, 1 Wounded in Unrelated Shootings

Two men were killed and a third seriously wounded in separate shootings Tuesday night and early Wednesday.
The first occurred when a 23-year-old man was shot in the arm, leg and back by someone in another car at 92nd Street and La Salle Avenue in Los Angeles. He was in serious condition.
About 11 p.m., a man returning to his car in the 11900 block of Hawthorne Boulevard in Hawthorne was accosted by three men. He was shot to death.
Soon after midnight, another man was shot to death in the 1300 block of 109th Place in Athens.
