2 Men, 1 Juvenile Accused of Selling Drugs
Two Oxnard men and one juvenile have been arrested on suspicion of selling methamphetamines, authorities said.
Police said narcotics detectives received a tip that men were delivering drugs to buyers in public areas. Officers said Ramon Lopez, 25, and the male juvenile conducted a drug transaction at Channel Islands Boulevard and Ventura Road on Thursday afternoon.
Both were arrested after methamphetamines and cocaine were found in their car, police said.
The third person, Juan Mendez, 27, was arrested after police searched a home on South M Street. Police said they found a loaded 9-mm handgun, more than $1,500 in cash and a syringe.
The juvenile was taken to Juvenile Hall, and Lopez and Mendez were booked into County Jail.
