Testimony Continues In Virk Sanity Hearing

Lawyers could wrap up as early as today the sanity phase of the trial of a woman accused of trying to drown her two children in Channel Islands Harbor.
Narinder Virk, 42, of Port Hueneme was found guilty on two counts of attempted murder late last week.
A court-appointed psychiatrist told jurors Tuesday that Virk was suffering from a major depressive disorder the night of crime two years ago and probably had been suffering from an undiagnosed mental illness for some time.
