Trip Ends Against Hottest
MINNEAPOLIS — Well, the Clippers certainly saved the best for last.
The Minnesota Timberwolves are the hottest team the Clippers have faced on this six-game trip, which ends tonight at the Target Center. The Timberwolves have won eight consecutive games and vaulted over the San Antonio Spurs into first place in the Midwest Division.
The Clippers ended their season-high four-game losing streak with an impressive display of poise during Sunday’s victory against the Toronto Raptors. Point guard Jeff McInnis called it a “desperate win.”
Expect the Clippers to deploy their matchup zone again tonight against Minnesota..

McInnis is over the stomach bug that limited him to 25 minutes Sunday. Swingman Corey Maggette’s strained right knee has improved. He practiced Monday and is expected to play tonight.
