Two Arrested in Drive-by Shooting
Two people have been arrested in connection with a drive-by shooting in Pacoima that critically injured a 20-year-old man, officials said.
The shooting occurred Sunday afternoon on the 13100 block of Van Nuys Boulevard.
Jose Armando Escobedo, 21, of San Fernando is being held at the Van Nuys jail in lieu of $800,000 bail; a 16-year-old Lake View Terrace boy is being held at Sylmar Juvenile Hall awaiting a criminal hearing, Los Angeles Police Lt. George Rock said.
The victim, whose name police have not released, was transported to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, Rock said.
