In other girls’ basketball games:

North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake 60, West Hills Chaminade 54--The defending Southern Section Division III-AA champion Wolverines were outscored, 24-11, in the fourth quarter, but survived to win their 15th consecutive Mission League game at Harvard-Westlake.

Lyndsey Medders scored 23 points and had five assists and Stefanie Clark added 15 points for the Wolverines (13-6, 3-0).

Christina Zdenek scored 10 of her 19 points in the fourth quarter for Chaminade, which trailed, 49-30, after three quarters. Zdenek scored seven points during a 13-0 run to open the fourth and pulled the Eagles (11-7, 2-1) to within 49-43.

San Clemente 67, Huntington Beach 41--Center Lindsey Pluimer paced No. 3 San Clemente (12-3) with 20 points and 10 rebounds in a nonleague victory over Huntington Beach (7-9).

Irvine Woodbridge 66, Lake Forest El Toro 38--Michelle Sanford scored 13 points and Lauren Stepanski had 11 for No. 12 Woodbridge (16-2) in a nonleague game at El Toro (12-6).

Santa Margarita 55, Santa Barbara San Marcos 36--Annie Mai led No. 20 Santa Margarita (15-2) with 14 points in the nonleague game at San Marcos (9-9).

Oxnard 59, Chino 56--Nadine Izaguirre converted a free throw with 11 seconds remaining to snap a 56-56 tie, and Sienna Abraham added two free throws seconds later for Oxnard (8-10).

In boys’ basketball games:

Santa Ana Mater Dei 77, Westminster 33--Chris Henry had 16 points and nine rebounds to lead the way for ninth-ranked Mater Dei (16-4).

Torrance Bishop Montgomery 52, Lakewood Mayfair 50--Fred Washington hit two free throws with three seconds to play, breaking a tie and giving Bishop Montgomery (14-5) the edge. Brandon Peace had 21 points in the victory.

In girls’ water polo:

Santa Ana Foothill 5, Santa Barbara 2--Gabby Dominic scored three times in the first period and Brittany Hayes added two in the third as the No. 1-ranked Knights defeated No. 7 Santa Barbara in the title game of the Santa Barbara tournament. Foothill goalie Emily Feher was selected the tournament’s most valuable player.
