They Don’t Know How Good They Had it

In regard to Tim Russell’s letter last Saturday about the abuse the Nebraska fans took in Los Angeles:
Tim says that the Cornhuskers were booed twice in Staples Center. Hey Tim, the Clippers get booed more than that, and that’s their floor!
He said that they were treated rudely? Hey Tim, ever see someone walking around Lincoln with an OU shirt on get treated with respect?
Tim, we weren’t mad that the BCS put you in the Rose Bowl. We were mad that you ruined what should have been a good game.
So if an apology is what you’re after Tim, let me just say this:
I’m sorry that you didn’t get to play Miami for the championship in the Orange Bowl. And I’m really sorry that all you have in your life to get excited about is college football.

Real championship game: Miami vs. Oregon.
Real Heisman winner: Ken Dorsey.
Real loser: The guy who scapegoated Nick Aliotti out of the UCLA defensive coordinator job. Looks like he can coach defense after all.
