College Sends the Most Transfers to Cal State

Orange Coast College sent more students to the California State University system last year than any other community college in the state, according to the California Post-Secondary Education Commission.
The commission’s report said 1,187 Orange Coast students transferred to Cal State campuses in 2000-01, a 3.9% increase from the previous year.
DeAnza College in Cupertino ranked second, and Mount San Antonio College in Walnut was third.
Fullerton College ranked sixth, and Saddleback College was 23rd.
