Vandals Target Islamic Center, Flooding Building
From Times Wire Reports
Vandals broke water pipes, flooding the Islamic Center of Columbus, and left several copies of the Koran shredded or thrown in the parking lot. Police have no suspects, a spokesman said.
The vandals went to a third-floor bathroom and pulled water pipes from the sink and walls, an official said. Holes were drilled into the floor on the top story so water flowed to the lower levels.
