Flying High
With all of the current concern for safety and security aboard aircraft, why do the airlines continue to serve alcohol (but have discontinued serving food)? Does it make sense, as has recently occurred, to have a passenger down a scotch and then proceed to kick the cockpit door in?
The majority of passenger-related behavior problems that occur aboard aircraft are related to the consumption of alcohol. Is this about our security or the airlines’ desire to make money?
