4 Hurt in Grenade Blast at Prime Minister’s Home
From Times Wire Reports
Four people were injured, two seriously, when a hand grenade was thrown into the residence of the prime minister of Somalia’s transitional government, police said.
Prime Minister Hassan Abshir Farah, who has been trying to win backing for Somalia’s shaky administration from opposition warlords, escaped injury in the Friday evening blast.
Farah later told reporters that there was a possibility the hand grenade may have been dropped accidentally by one of his bodyguards.
