From Times Wire Reports
An early morning cloudburst flooded Kaycee with water 3 feet deep and destroyed several homes.
Up to 7 inches of rain fell during the night, town officials said.
“Main Street is pretty much under water,” Town Clerk Diane Cornthwaite said. “We’ve got quite a few homes that have been damaged or floated away.”
No injuries were reported.
Power and cell phone service were both knocked out in the northern Wyoming town of 249 residents, Cornthwaite said.
