Southwest Pilots OK Contract Extension

Southwest Airlines Co. pilots approved a contract extension that their union said would raise pay at the largest low-fare carrier about 36% through August 2006 and improve medical and retirement benefits.
Southwest shares rose 30 cents to $13.15 on the NYSE. The vote was announced after the close of trading.
